Comedians to perform from inside casks

Maybe they’re trying out for Caskmaster…

Comics Matt Richardson and Kojo Anim are to perform stand-up from inside barrels in a new promotional campaign.

The comedians have signed up with Jacob’s Creek wine for a Father’s Day competition in which inning dads get an intimate comedy gig on their front doors – with the gags being deliver ed from inside a 3ft Scotch whisky barrel.

It’s all in aid of flogging the brand’s Double Barrel wines, which are finished in aged whisky barrels. Sorry, it’s all in aid of ‘providing much-needed laughs to Brits after a particularly tough year’.
