Doors, barstools and other memorabilia up for auction

You could own a part of the Boston bar where everybody knows your name – if you have deep pockets.

The front door to Cheers is going under the hammer, with auctioneers expecting it to go for around £100,000.

Or you could own the barstools occupied by the well-upholstered derrieres of Norm (George Wendt) and Cliff (John Ratzenberger), expected to fetch around £10,000 each

Several other bar props and costumes—including clothing worn by stars Ted Danson, Shelley Long, Rhea Perlman, Kirstie Alley and Kelsey Grammer are being sold by Julien’s Auctions at a two-day live and online auction starting on May 7 

The auctioneers also have a number of items from Dr Frasier Crane’s Seattle penthouse from the spin-off Frasier, including the Coco Chanel-inspired suede sofa  and the Café Nervosa bistro table and chairs, where Frasier and Niles held many memorable conversations

The auction of 623 items includes pieces from other US shows including  Bewitched, M*A*S*H*, The Brady Bunch, Breaking Bad, The Office, Veep and Roseanne.
