Comic plays a chef at an Iranian wedding

In the film accompanying Azizam, the singer-songwriter attends a wild wedding party full of Persian stars, including Djalili who plays the chef. 

The video opens with Sheeran struggling for inspiration for his latest song idea. Then he slips on a rug and get transported to a  wild Iranian wedding. 

In the kitchen Djalili, works some magic to make him dance, and reappears later on as Sheeran throws himself into the festivities. 

The pair are near-neighbours: Djalili lives in Ipswich and Sheeran on a £3.75million estate outside nearby Framlingham.

The 59-year-old comic has previously said he hoped Sheeran would write the theme tune for a sitcom he is developing about an ex-comic who starts to teach comedy at the University of Suffolk.

The Azizam film is directed by  Iranian-American filmmaker Saman Kesh who has previously made there music videos for the likes of Basement Jaxx and  Calvin Harris.

Other stars in the video include Googoosh,  Eyelar and Servin Alenabi and Ilya Salmanzadeh. When it dropped, Djalili posted: ‘This is going to blow.’
