ONLINE: The first in the new series of iPlayer shorts Matt Berry Does… launches on iPlayer today. Following the success of his Lone Wolf and Wild Love, in which he provided spoof voiceovers for wildlife footage, this one offers a curious look at The Boat Race, a week before the annual Oxford/Cambridge clash.
LIVE IN BATH: The Bath Comedy Festival trundles on all week. Tonight’s pick is a diverse double-bill at the city’s cricket club, with smart and cynical Nick Doody followed by the uncanny musical impersonations of Chortle-nominated Jess Robinson in The Mighty Voice.

RADIO: Award-winning sketch character duo Max and Ivan come to Radio 4 - with the help of a guest appearance from June Whitfield – in the first episode of The Casebook Of Max And Ivan. Other star names appearing in the series include Reece Shearsmith, Jessica Hynes and Matt Lucas. Radio 4, 6.30pm

Proceedings kick off with an opening gala featuring Showstoppers, John Robertson, David Mills, Morgan and West, Magical Bones and Ellie Taylor and hosted by Mark Dolan
Friday April 10
CINEMA IN LONDON: The Barbican has invited eight comedians, writers and producers to choose and introduce their favourite funny movie in the new series, This Made Me Laugh, which kicks off tonight with Andrew Collins and (on tape) David Sedaris introducing the Cohen brothers’ version of True Grit. Tomorrow John Lloyd introduces Naked Gun and Lenny Henry presents Blazing Saddles.
RADIO: Topical impressions show Dead Ringers returns just in time for the election campaign (though impartiality laws might make that a little tricky) with Jon Culshaw, Jan Ravens, Duncan Wisbey, Lewis MacLeod and Debra Stephenson. Radio 4, 6.30pm
