From Taskmaster to caskmaster
Taskmaster has launched its own series of craft beers.
Fans can now buy seven different brews, all named in reference to moments on the hit show.
They are:
- Chip Biffington, a session pale
- Old Honk Foot, a nitro Irish dry stout
- The Barrel Dad, American pale
- The Mean Bean, IPA
- The Perfect Stuff, pilsner
- Long Legged Lobster, alcohol-free lager
- Slap and Tong, alcohol-free American pale
They are made by Mad Squirrel Brewery, based in Hemel Hempstead, not far from Alex Horne’s home in Chesham, Buckinghamshire.
The beers were made for the Taskmaster live experience which recently opened in South-East London, but are also available to order online.
Horne last night posted a video of him visiting the brewery and being talked through the new beers:
Mad Squirrel also makes a Guv Island pale ale, in honour of Al Murray’s tour of the same name.
The beers are part of a range of Taskmaster merch that also includes Christmas crackers, socks and fridge magnets – and a keyring featuring a mini-version of the Taskmaster trophy, Greg Davies’s golden head.
