Nick Swardson booted off his own gig
Comic appeared too wasted to perform
American comic Nick Swardson was kicked out of his own show on Sunday night after it turned to chaos.
The Reno 911! Star put in such a shambolic performance at in Beaver Creek, Colorado, that he was eventually escorted off stage, gossip website TMZ reported.
Fans were subsequently offered refunds by the venue.
Vilar Performing Arts Center told ticket-holders: 'We apologize for the negative experience you may have had at this evening's performance with Nick Swardson.
'Unfortunately, this show did not meet the Vilar Performing Arts Center's standards as a world-class presenter of the performing arts. Therefore, all tickets will be refunded to the original payment method. Please accept our sincere apologies.'
Footage posted online shows the comic rambling and slurring amid a barrage of heckles from a fed-up crowd.
After about 20 minutes, Swardson's mic was cut and the spotlight turned off before the comic was reportedly guided off the stage, giving a little wave as he was led away.
Swardson later seemed to admit he was wasted at the gig, posting 'Just casually woke up on TMZ. Travel tip: don’t drink and take edibles in high altitude. Fucking brain diarrhea.'
