Adam Hills does Matt Hancock's job for him
Adam Hills has held a mock political surgery in Matt Hancock’s constituency - given the former health secretary is otherwise engaged in the I’m A Celebrity… jungle.
The comedian visited the the Suffolk market town of Mildenhall to give locals the chance to air their concerns, since their local MP has abandoned his post for a lucrative stint on the ITV reality show.
Hills said ‘it was a pleasure’ to meet Hancock’s constituents, and that footage from the stunt will air on his Channel 4 show The Last Leg on Friday.
He added: ‘Comedians shouldn’t be doing the jobs of politicians. But if they’re gonna make fools of themselves on TV, we’re gonna have to meet constituents.’
In a now-deleted post, Mildenhall Police department tweeted their thanks to Hills for taking the time to listen to local concerns.
Fantastic to see you in Mildenhall today Adam, my son was delighted to meet you.

Meanwhile, viewers of I’m A Celebrity have been accused of racism as the show sheds its non-white contestants on the basis of public votes.
Presenters Scarlette Douglas and Charlene White were second and third to be eliminated with Douglas in the bottom two with comic Babatúndé Aléshé this weekend.
