Nish Kumar has had to cancel his appearance at the Brighton Comedy Garden tomorrow after being pinged by the NHS app.
The comic said: ‘Instead of following the government’s example of travelling across the country or groping my mistress I will follow the guidance and stay home.
‘Luckily one of my best friends and one of the best comedians in the world, David O’Doherty, has agreed to step in. I consider it a significant upgrade.’
The Brighton Comedy Garden runs at Preston Park until Sunday with the likes of Alan Davies, Dara O Briain, Aisling Bea and Tom Allen appearing. Listing and tickets.
