The Inbetweeners' 'spunkmobile' up for auction

Buy a bit of sitcom history

The beaten-up Fiat Cinquecento Hawaii from  The Inbetweeners is being auctioned off.

Bids on the 1996 yellow car - with one red door - currently stand at £2,600. In the series, the door was ripped off in the Thorpe Park parking lot on the first trip the boys took in the car.

The vehicle - dubbed the ‘spunkmobile’ in one episode after Neil (Blake Harrison)  fingered a girl in the back seat -  even features the ‘Honk If You Want A Blowjob’ sticker placed there by James Buckley’s character Jay, to wind up owner Simon (Joe Thomas).

The lot, at East Bristol auctions, also includes  replica 'Pussay Patrol’ and 'Bumder' keyrings as seen in the show.

Auctioneers describe it as ‘an eye-catching vehicle in good running order, which is guaranteed to make fans of the series (and subsequent movies) smile’.

The car is said  to have been used as a stunt vehicle for the original production and bids are open at the auction house’s website.

It is being sold at the same auction selling one of Tommy Cooper’s original fezzes, which has already attracted bids of £1,200. Bid here.

The auction closes on May 28.
