Jessie Cave: My baby has Covid-19
Comedian Jessie Cave has revealed that her baby boy has contracted Covid-19.
The stand-up, also known for playing Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter franchise, posted an image on Instagram on Tuesday of her three-month-old son Abraham in a hospital room
In the foreground was a laptop playing Prime Minister Boris Johnson's speech announcing a new lockdown in England.
‘I watched the news about lockdown from an isolated room in hospital. Poor baby is covid positive,’ Cave wrote.
‘He's okay and doing well but they are being vigilant and cautious, thankfully. This strain is super powerful and contagious so I do hope that people take extra care in the coming weeks.’
‘Really didn’t want this to be the start of my families new year. Really didn’t want to be back in a hospital so soon after his traumatic birth. Once again I’m in awe of nurses and doctors.’
After giving birth to her third child with fellow comic Alfie Brown in October, 33-year-old Cave said it was ‘slightly extreme’ adding: ‘This has been a very different experience to my first two births... much more humbling, terrifying and out of my control.’
