Borat joins social media
Borat has joined Twitter and TikTok to troll Donald Trump.
Accounts were set up in the name of Sacha Baron Cohen’s Kazakh character on Friday, each verified with a coveted blue tick.
And they were quick to mock the US President’s response to getting Covid, and downplaying its risks.

He joined the social media platforms ahead of the release of Borat Subsequent Moviefilm – possibly subtitled Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. It drops on Amazon Prime on October 23.
The movie was shot over the summer, with Cohen trolling a right-wing rally in disguise and targeting Donald Trump's lawyer Rudy Giuliani. Its meta-premise that Borat is now famous, so he has to go undercover to get his interviews.
Baron Cohen wrote the script with Anthony Hines, Dan Swimer, Peter Baynham, Erica Rivinoja, Dan Mazer, Jena Friedman and Lee Kern.
