'That dude's just a piece of shit'
Saturday Night Live's Pete Davidson has expressed concern and sympathy for Louis CK over his career freefall in the wake of his sexual misconduct admissions.
Of course he hasn't!
The younger comic has positively gloated about the 'amazing' downfall of a stand-up he calls a 'piece of shit'.
Speaking to broadcaster Charlamagne tha God in a new interview, Davidson spoke frankly of his reaction to the backlash against CK.
'It felt great,' he said. 'I loved it, that guy hasn't been nice to many people, he's not a nice guy.'
And he accused CK of being two-faced after he tried to get him fired from SNL for smoking dope.
'He just ratted me out to my boss,' he said. 'It was so weird - I never really got over that. That dude's just a piece of shit. He's not nice to young comics.'
Davidson added that the way so much of the industry quickly dropped their allegiance to CK in the wake of the allegations show how little he was liked.
CK has recently been performing a series of comeback gigs, which have sold out but also attracted controversy from protesters who say he should be 'cancelled' after he was revealed to have masturbated in front of younger female comics.
Davidson also added that he had 'outgrown' SNL, but would stay on the show as long as producer Lorne Michaels wanted him.
'I personally think I should be done with that show because they make fun of me on it,' he said. 'I’m like, cold open, political punchlines. I’m like, Weekend Update jokes.
'I have a weird feeling in that building where I don’t know whose team they’re playing for really, if I’m the joke or I’m in on the joke.':
