Amy Schumer's one sick comedian
Amy Schumer follows the mantra ‘the show must go on’ – however sick her pregnancy is making her.
And she showed fans just how determined she is to perform by sharing a video of herself vomiting before going on stage in New York last night.
The social media post showed the comic hurling in the car as she travelled to the Tarrytown Music Hall… and she warned her 7.5million Instagram followers: ‘Turn [the] sound off if you have a weak stomach.’
The 37-year-old wrote: ‘I love doing stand-up more than anything and I hate cancelling shows. I have to postpone some until I feel human again. But I will make up these dates and we will have a great time. I’m so proud of my stand up right now and can’t wait to share it.’
Because of her sickness, she performed in sweatpants and slippers – a far cry from her normal stage attire.
She dedicated the rest of the post to Republican Cindy Hyde-Smith, set to win a tightly-fought race to win the Senate race in Mississippi, despite claims her comments that she would attend a public hanging raising the ghost of the state’s history of lynching.
