Comic completes 26-mile race

He predicted it would be ‘horrific’ – but in the end Joel Dommett completed his first London marathon in just over three and a half hours yesterday.

The 32-year-old comedian and I’m A Celebrity star completed the 26.2 mile course in a very respectable 3hrs 34mins, and raised more than £3,280 for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Also running was Rob Deering, 46, who completed his tenth London Marathon in 4hrs 14mins and raised almost £10,000 for Parkinson's UK, funding research into a disease his father and 100,000 other Britons sufferer from.
