New play for Inbetweeners star Blake Harrison

Inbetweeners star Blake Harrison is to star in a new play from stand-up comic Archie Maddocks.

A Place For We is a bittersweet comedy-drama set in one building in Brixton, which tells the story of London’s changing communities over three generations.

Shortlisted for the Bruntwood Prize – the UK’s biggest award for playwriting – the show is being stage at the Park Theatre in Finsbury Park Theatre from next month.

Harrison, who played Neil in the Inbetweeners, plays George, a fifth-generation pub owner, opposite David Webber, who playsTrinidadian funeral director Clarence 

The  play is being directed by Michael Buffong, artistic director of the Talawa Theatre Company, which has been championing black theatre for more than 35 years.

Completing the cast are Joanna Horton, Laurence Ubong Williams, Kirsty Oswald and Harold Addo. Tickets are available here.
