Comedians do doodles for charity auction

Harry Hill, David Baddiel Miranda Hart are among the celebrities who have submitted doodles for an upcoming charity auction.

Their creations will go under the hammer in a three-day eBay auction this week to raise money for Epilepsy Action.

Other comedy names taking part include Aisling Bea, Mackenzie Crook, Joe Thomas, Doon Mackichan, Jessica Hynes, Warwick Davis, Karl Theobald and Diane Morgan.

Xanthe Hopkinson, fundraising events officer at Epilepsy Action, said: ‘National Doodle Day is a fantastic opportunity for people to get their hands on an original piece of art by their favourite celebrity, artist or designer. It also raises vital funds for people affected by epilepsy across the UK.

‘Every year we are overwhelmed with support from celebrities, and always look forward to seeing their creations. There are no rules when it comes to doodles - this is an event that really lets their imaginations fly.’

Over the past 15 years, National Doodle Day has raised more £160,000.
