Shandling's archive is being put online

Garry Shandling’s website has been revived as a tribute to the Larry Sanders star.

It features the comic’s handwritten journal entries that show how he came up with material as well as, old set lists, photographs and videos.

The comic, who died in 2016, was a fastidious chronicler of his process, and his estate will continue to add material over the months.

They say part of the reason is to help other comics learn from Shandling’s techniques.

A statement on the site says it ‘plans to offer a growing library of the materials of Garry for those who wish to stop and smile, or for those who desire to study his writings to help understand a comic process’.
