Rosie Jones's Disability Comedy Extravaganza to return

Stand-up showcase taped for UKTV next month

Rosie Jones is to record another Disability Comedy Extravaganza for the Dave Channel.

The comic - who has just been named as one of the contestants in series 18 of Taskmaster – will be taping the show at the Shaw Theatre in London next month.

She has previously fronted five half-hour episodes for the broadcaster, which are available on the UKTV Play streaming service.

Details of which comedians will be taking part this year have not yet been released, but previous acts have included the likes of William Thompson, Josh Pugh, Jamie MacDonald, Harriet Dyer and Marcus Birdman.

Free tickets are available for the taping on June 11 by emailing rsvp@mcintyre-ents.com. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible, and there will be live captioning and a BSL interpreter on the night.

Thanks for reading. If you find Chortle’s coverage of the comedy scene useful or interesting, please consider supporting us with a monthly or one-off ko-fi donation.
Any money you contribute will directly fund more reviews, interviews and features – the sort of in-depth coverage that is increasingly difficult to fund from ever-squeezed advertising income, but which we think the UK’s vibrant comedy scene deserves.
