The Traitors winner gets a comedy agent
The Traitors winner Hannah Byczkowski has signed up with the same comedy agents that represent Micky Flanagan and Zoe Lyons.
Her new deal with Blue Book Management comes after ,ore than three million people watched her outwit other players in BBC One’s hit reality show in December.
At the time of the victory she said: ‘I quit my [day] job just before I went into the show so I was worried. It was a really strange feeling to go in there a bit worried, then come out not worried.
She split the £101,050 prize money with call centre agent Meryl Williams and property agent Aaron Evans, saying she would spend her share on a car to travel to and from London and Stoke-on-Trent, where she lived, for her gigs.
And she added that since the show aired venues who would not previously have booked her have given her gigs. ‘They’ve got no shame,’ she said, but added: ‘I’m so grateful and I feel so lucky that it’s happened.’
The Traitors host Claudia Winkleman has paid tribute to Byczkowski, saying: ‘Want to howl with laughter? Go and see Hannah. She is a comedy goddess.’
Blue Book – run by agent Christian Knowles – also represents the likes of Mark Watson, Gary Delaney, Hal Cruttenden and America’s Got Talent winner Paul Zerdin.
