Reece Shearsmith has been nominated for an Edinburgh TV Award – while his co-star and co-creator Steve Pemberton has not made the cut.
It is the second time an industry panel have separated the pair, as Shearsmith was nominated for a Bafta last year, whereas Pemberton wasn’t.
Also up for best comedy actor at the Edinburgh awards are Daisy Haggard for Back To Life, Esther Smith for Trying, Rafe Spall for Trying. Rose Matafeo for Starstruck and Samson Kayo for Bloods.
Comedy-drama stars Ambika Mod from This Is Going to Hurt and Gamba Cole from The Outlaws are also up for the acting breakthrough award.
