Steve Coogan says he'll always be making new Partridge projects

Steve Coogan has said there will always be more Alan Partridge until the day he drops dead.

The comic made his comments on the Heart Evening Show, when host Dev Griffin asked him what question he faced most often

Coogan said the obvious one was: ‘Is there going to be anymore Alan Partridge?’

And he added: ‘Now I can say, pretty much until the day I drop dead, the answer will be, "Yes, there will be some more. Unless I drop dead."

‘I suppose someone else could take on the role. But not really, no. I’m very lucky that a) I’ve had a career that’s lasted this long, and b) that I’m able to do sort of what I like, to some extent, in so far as I can jump between comedy and drama.’
