Netflix renews #blackAF

Second series for Kenya Barris comedy

Netflix has renewed #blackAF   for a second season.

The show is a fictionalised version of Black-ish creator Kenya Barris’s home life as a successful Hollywood producer – but struggling family man.

Rashida Jones will also return as his wife.

The renewal comes days after it was reported that Barris was teaming up with Happy singer Pharrell Williams on a musical film based on Juneteenth, the US holiday celebrating the Emancipation of enslaved people. Here he is speaking about that project to  Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show,

Here is our review of the first episode in series one of #blackAF.
