Special to be taped in London next month

Michael McIntyre is to record his first stand-up special for Netflix.

He will be taping two shows at the London Palladium on March 5 and 6 for the streaming service.

McIntyre’s official Twitter feed announced the news, telling fans to sign up to his mailing list if they wanted priority tickets.

The recording follows his Big World Tour, which is set to continue later this year.

McIntyre has previously released four stand-up DVDs: Live & Laughing in 2008, Hello Wembley! in 2009, Showtime in 2012 and Happy & Glorious in 2015.

He is performing two warm-up dates at the Hull Arena next week. Tickets for those shows are available here.
