To promote his new book of NHS diary entries

Adam Kay has announced a short tour to promote his next book.

Twas the Nightshift Before Christmas will again feature entries from the former medic’s NHS diaries, but all about the realities of working on the front line of the health service during the festive season.

This new live show mixes highlights from the book with his a stand-up, with the ticket price including a hardback copy of the book.

His previous title, This is Going to Hurt has sold more than 1.5 million copies – topping the Sunday Times bestseller lists for a record-breaking nine months – and helped him shift more than 100,000 tickets to his live shows.

Kay is currently adapting his diaries for a major BBC Two comedy-drama, too.
