Fearne Cotton quits Celebrity Juice
Fearne Cotton is leaving Celebrity Juice after a decade.
The 37-year-old presenter is said to be seeking a more upmarket image than the Keith Lemon show offers. She has written books on wellbeing and is starting a BBC series in the spring called Project Interiors.
She said: ‘After ten years of complete fun, I have decided to leave Celebrity Juice. It has been a joy to be part of this magnificent show and I wish the team the very best in future series.
Cotton appeared on the first episode of the ITV2 show in 2008 alongside fellow captain Holly Willoughby, and his been with the show ever since, except for two series when she was on maternity leave.
Willoughby bade her farewell on social media, posting picture of them on the show both eating the same banana from different ends. She added: ‘I'm going to miss you being on the other side of my banana... thank you for 10 years of laughter... love you @fearnecotton.’
Celebrity Juice - which has run for 241 episodes – is expected back on air next year, with no word on who might replace Cotton.
