London Hughes Goes Dating
London Hughes is to take part in the new series of Celebs Go Dating.
The Croydon-born comic and CBBC star previously wrote and appeared in the Radio 4 sitcom 28 Dates Later, which was also about the world of dating.
She has been outspoken about the sexism and racism she says still exists in the comedy circuit, recalling that after one gig: 'I remember sitting in a KFC car park crying over a bargain bucket because they said they didn't like me because I'm black.'
Hughes, 28, tweeted today: 'So yep the secrets out guys! I'm in the new series of E4's 😂#CelebsGoDating!! I cannot wait for you to see me on dates every night!! I'm so excited! Coming to E4 next year.'
Also taking part in the next series of the E4 reality show are Jonathan Lipnicki, the former child actor who starred in Stuart Little, teenage Scottsh singer Tallia Storm, The Only Way Is Essex's Gemma Collins, Olympic teakwood champion Jade Jones, Love Island's Mike Thalassitis and Made In Chelsea's Ollie Locke.
A launch date for the fourth series has not been confirmed, but it's expected to be in the new year. It will run for 20 weeks in an hour-long slot at 10pm.
