Joe Lycett announces new tour

...and, yes, it has a punny title

Joe Lycett has announced a 2018 tour – entitled I'm About To Lose Control And I Think Joe Lycett.

The title follows previous shows that have punned on song lyrics: If Joe Lycett Then You Should’ve Put a Ring On It and That's the Way A-Ha A-Ha, Joe Lycett.

A total of 48 dates have been announced, although more are likely to follow. The tour kicks off at the Bristol Old Vic on February 14 and ends in Shrewsbury on September 28.

The 29-year-old comic said: ‘I’m working really hard on this show and I can’t wait to show it to you.'

He also tweeted: 'There will be more Scottish dates, we're just locking them in. And a few other places too. Keep your eyes peeled!'

His full schedule so far is here and tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday.

Meanwhile, the paperback of Lycett’s book Parsnips, Buttered is out on Thursday. (Buy | Review)
