From BBC One special tonight

The BBC has released the first pictures of  Tracey Ullman as Theresa May.

The comedian is impersonating the Prime Minister for the first time in Tracey Breaks The News, which airs on BBC One at 9.30pm tonight.

May features alongside Ullman’s previous impressions of  Angela Merkel and Nicola Sturgeon in a show based around the general election and the anniversary of the Brexit vote.

The rise to power – however tenuously held – of Mrs May, above, has proved a boon to female impressionists, with Jan Ravens releasing videos in the guise of the hapless premier.
