Paul Whitehouse joins Hatton Garden heist movie

Alongside Michael Caine and Tom Courtenay

Paul Whitehouse has joined the  star-studded cast of a new movie about the Hatton Garden robbery.

He will appear alongside  Michael Caine, Tom Courtenay, Ray Winstone, Jim Broadbent, Charlie Cox, Michael Gambon, and Francesca Annis in Night In Hatton Garden.

Production is due to start on the movie next week, trade website Deadline reports, with The Theory of Everything  director James Marsh at the helm.

The movie revolves around the  2015  break-in where a team of old criminals robbers stole more than £200 million worth of loot from safe deposit boxes.

Which role each actor plays has not yet been announced.

Night In Hatton Garden was written by Sunny Afternoon playwright Joe Penhall, based on source material from journalists who covered the case.

It is the second movie about the heist, following The Hatton Garden Job, starring Matthew Goode and Phil Daniels, which was released last month. But it was poorly reviewed, scoring just 27 per cent on aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes.
