A NORMAL LIFE: Part two in an occasional series from comedy writer, producer and poet Henry Normal, in which he uses his experiences of bringing up a child with autism to talk about life, death, loneliness, loss, human frailty and 'other classic conversation stoppers'. Radio 4, 11.15am.

Tuesday April 4
CATASTROPHE: The last episode of the third series features the farewell performance of Carrie Fisher as Mia, the mother of Rob Delaney's character. The plot has a now-poignant theme too, as it revolves around the death of Sharon Horgan's father, with Mia travelling from America to pay her version of respects. ' She was funny all the time,' Horgan said of Fisher. 'She was an incredibly witty person and liked saying aresholey things to everyone but also a really kind, lovely, supportive person.'Channel 4, 10pm
Wednesday April 5
HENRY IX: A new three-part sitcom about a fictional contemporary monarch suffering a mid-life crisis, written by Porridge creators Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais. It stars Charles Edwards as the reluctant king, with Sally Phillips as his Queen, and Annette Crosbie as his dotty mother, heading a cast that also includes Don Warrington as a valet and EastEnders actress Kara Tointon as a florist. The writers insist there are no parallels with the current Royal Family, though, with Clement saying: 'People may make comparisons if they want to, but none are intended.'
TOM PARRY'S FANCY DRESSED LIFE: Based on his acclaimed live stand-up show, Yellow T-Shirt, Tom Parry tells the story of four fancy dress parties over the course of a year in his native Wolverhampton. In episode one, the comic – part of the Pappy's sketch troupe – describes how fancy dress isn't a bit of fun to him, but a very serious pursuit. Radio 4, 11pm

THE TRIP TO SPAIN: Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon reunite for their third culinary odyssey, this time following in the footsteps of poet and novelist Laurie Lee.
