Rory McGrath admits harassment
RORY McGRATH has pleaded guilty to harassing a married woman. The comedian, 60, hid in bushes to observe his victim and followed her on his bicycle, Huntingdon Magistrates Court heard. He was sentenced to 10 weeks in jail, suspended for 18 months. He previously denied the greater charge of stalking the woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, in Cambridge between June 1, 2015 and August 6 last year.

MRS BROWN’s Boys was named most popular comedy at theNational Television Awards last night. Star Brendan O'Carroll said the audience-voted award was the one ‘that matters most’. Benidorm, Orange Is The New Black and The Big Bang Theory had also been nominated. Comic Paul Sinha also picked up an award as part of The Chase team that won the ‘daytime’ category.
COMEDY CENTRAL has bought the rights to air Will Smith sitcom The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, which it will air at 3pm on weekdays from Monday. All six seasons of the show are also currently streaming on Netflix.
SCRUBS star Zach Braff is piloting a new comedy series for America’s ABC network. In Start Up he will play a journalist who he quits his stable job and starts his own business. Braff will also direct the pilot and serve as an executive producer alongside writer Matt Tarses, who also worked on Scrubs
