Comedians to talk to the dead
COMEDIANS Ed Night, Rosie Holt, Lulu Popplewell, Pierre Novellie, Mr Spooky and Maddie Campion are to live-stream a seance on social media. Their attempts to communicate with the dead is the first in a series of planned monthly events on Facebook Live, and will be available here from 8pm on Sunday.
ZOOLANDER No. 2 – described as a ’15-years-too-late sequel’ leads – if that’s the right word – the nominations for the Golden Raspberry Awards, which celebrate the worst in Hollywood. It is up for nine Razzies, including worst picture with Ben Stiller, Kristen Wiig, Will Ferrell and Owen Wilson all shortlisted in acting categories. ‘Winners’ will be announced on February 25.
KING OF THE HILL and Beavis and Butt-head creator Mike Judge is returning to animation with a new series based around country music. HBO sister network Cinemax has ordered eight episodes of Mike Judge Presents: Tales From The Tour Bus, Hollywood website Deadline reports. Judge more recently created Silicone Valley
THE GUESTS have been revealed for Harry Hill’s Alien Fun Capsule, the comedian’s forthcoming ITV panel show in which two teams have to find funny items that will persuade aliens not to invade Earth. Ross Noble, David O’Doherty, Sara Pascoe, Josh Widdicombe Joe Lycett, Kathy Burke, Nish Kumar and Des O’Connor are among those taking part.
MICKY FLANAGAN has added two more shows to his An’ Another Fing… tour: At Birmingham’s Barclaycard Arena on June 3 and London’s O2 Arena on October 6. Full schedule.
