Ross Noble horror film gets distribution deal
Ross Noble’s new horror film has landed a distribution deal.
Nails – which was originally called POV – will now be out in cinemas in early summer 2017 a
The movie stars Shauna MacDonald as an athletics coach who survives a near-death car accident only to find herself paralysed and convinced that a malevolent ghost is inside her hospital room intent on killing her. Noble plays her nurse, Trevor.
Noble – who directed one of Sky’s horror-comedy shorts this Halloween – has described Nails as ‘proper scary, not comedy’. As we reported last year, Nails is directed by Dennis Bartok, who co-wrote the script with Tom Abrams.
The comedian previously starred as a murderous zombie clown in the 2012 horror Stitches.
Trade website ScreenDaily reports that Kaleidoscope Film Distribution has signed up worldwide sales and UK distribution rights, and will launch it at the European Film Market in Berlin in February.
Kaleidoscope previously distributed Alice Lowe’s dark serial killer comedy Prevenge.
