Sky lands mockumentary series

Sky 1 has acquired the new mockumentary show set behind the scenes at The Muppets.

Thes show revolves around Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo as they prepare to reunite for a new TV series.  

Adam MacDonald, director of Sky 1, said: ‘Get ready to see the Muppets like you’ve never seen them before – with no-holds-barred access as they prepare for their big reunion, The Muppets promises a candid look at what goes on before and after they start the music and light the lights!’

Bill Prady from the The Big Bang Theory and Bob Kushell of Anger Management are co-writers and executive producers.

The Muppets will debut on ABC in the US on September 22 and in the UK soon afterwards.
