What a Mo pas!
He’s been on 29 episodes of The Masked Singer so far – but Mo Gilligan apparently still doesn’t know who the host is.
On Saturday’s show, the comic calls fellow stand-up Joel Dommett ‘Dermot’ by mistake.
And although he tries to cover up his mistake by quickly adding: ‘… O’Leary – which is not you’, the gaffe does not go unnoticed.
Joel responds: ‘Did you just call me Dermot? You can’t even guess me, and I don’t have a mask on. You can’t even get me right. This is unbelievable!’
The host then heaps on the embarrassment, The Sun reports, by telling Mo: ‘It’s OK, Babatunde, don’t you worry’ – pretending to have him confused with Babatunde Aleshe.
This week the ITV1 show’s judging panel, which also includes Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and Rita Ora, will be joined by guest Sir Lenny Henry, who yesterday revealed he is stepping down as host of Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day telethon after almost 40 years.
