Rosie Holt and Kieran Hodgson join Hyperfixated

Rosie Holt and Kieran Hodgson have joined the cast of Ashley Blaker’s new Radio 4 stand-up series, Hyperfixations.

The series, which records in London later this month, takes its cue from autism and ADHD – which leads to hyperfixation on special interests. In each episode he takes a look at one his obsessions: professional wrestling, 17th Century history, Orthodox Judaism and tattoos.

‘This is the perfect cast to bring Ashley’s Hyperfixated mind to life on stage,’ said Steve Doherty, who  is producing the show for his Llandudno-based company, Giddy Goat.

‘I’ve known Ashley for a long time and have always been amazed by his endless capacity to become fixated with stories, characters ... almost anything. The scripts for the show have come together beautifully and I can’t wait to bring this show into the world’

Blaker’s previous shows for Radio 4 include his family comedy  6.5 Children – although this is the first for the primetime 6.30pm comedy slot. 

The shows record at London’s Cockpit Theatre on Tuesdays April 22 and 29  and free tickets are now available via SRO Audiences.
