For his live Political Party podcast show

Matt Forde is to interview Tory leader Kemi Badenoch and former Cabinet minister Michael Gove on stage for his Political Party podcast.

The comic today announced that the Conservative big Beast will join him at the West End’s Duchess Theatre on June 9 and July 14 respectively.

The comic – who returned to live performance at last year's Edinburg Fringe following spinal surgery to combat cancer –  began his latest residency there this week with the Chancellor Rachel Reeves, who told him Labour will lose the next election unless voters can get GP appointments and feel richer,.

The next guest, on March 10, is Tony Blair’s former spin-doctor Alastair Campbell, with Donald Trump’s short-lived press secretary Anthony Scaramucci and Health Secretary Wes Streeting also lined up to appear.

The Political Party transferred to the Duchess Theatre in 2021, after more than 70 shows at The Other Palace in Westminster.
