Live Nation sets up a UK comedy agency
Global entertainment giant Live Nation has set up a UK comedy agency.

Live Nation was set up in the US in 1996 and merged with Ticketmaster in 2010 to form Live Nation Entertainment, which has a worldwide turnover of more than £18billion a year.
Ian Coburn, the company’s president of European comedy touring said: ‘With decades of experience in comedy promotion, this new firm is perfectly positioned to develop talent, elevate careers, and bring comedians to some of the best comedy stages across the UK and Europe.’
And Anna Cooke, vice president of the same division: ‘This launch reflects our dedication to fostering platforms where comedic talent can thrive.’
Last month Live Nation announced a tie-up with the Comedy Store to open a string of branded venues across the UK.
