Finlay Christie announces 2024 tour

Short run of his sophomore show I Deserve This

Comedian and YouTube star Finlay Christie has announced a short autumn tour.

The stand-up, who has more than 300million views on YouTube, will be playing nine UK dates with his second solo show I Deserve This, following a run at Monkey Barrel during the Edinburgh Fringe.

Christie’s debut hour OK Zoomer was nominated for NextUp's Best Show award  at the 2022 festival and released as a special on YouTube in October, racking up 434,000 views since then.

In the show, the comic talks about going to private school and how – despite going to cramming sessions – was the only one in his class to fail his exams.

Craving the validation of his peers, he changed his accent, took down all his online sketches, and started rapping. He went on to study Caribbean dance in an attempt to further distance himself from his background.

He has written a sitcom script, Born To Rule, based on those experiences which has been optioned by Boffola Pictures and showcased in a pilot directed by Rosco 5.

His I Deserve This tour kicks off at the Birmingham Glee on October 15 and ends at the Komedian in Brighton on November 28.
