Go Away! revolves around a pot-growing deadbeat

Paddington's Hugh Bonneville and This Is England’s Michael Socha are to star in a dark crime comedy film called Go Away!

According to trade website The Hollywood Reporter, Go Away! follows a deadbeat lodger and pot-grower (Socha) whose life is turned-upside down following an accident with a bailiff.

The movie is written and directed by Ed Kear - the stand-up who plays Dean in BBC comedy Here We Go – along with  Cringo Williamson, his business partner in the production company Rude Guests.

In a statement, the pair said: ‘We look forward to delivering a film that’s funny and poignant in equal measure, which we hope will live long in the memory of its audience.’

Now being shot in Hertfordshire, Go Away! also stars Ella Bruccoleri. Steve Speirs, Jo Martin, Niky Wardley, Jeff Mirza and Chris Gascoyne.

The film is produced by Gina Lyons  and Kristyna Sellnerova.
