Phil Ellis announces a 2024 tour
With his award-nominated Excellent Comedy Show
Phil Ellis is taking his Edinburgh Comedy Award-nominated Excellent Comedy Show on tour.
The comic and his supporting musicians will be playing 24 dates around the UK from February to March, followed by a week-long run at London’s Soho Theatre in May. It is his biggest tour to date.
It was one of the top 20 best reviewed shows of last year’s Fringe, including a four-and-a-half-star write-up from Chortle which praised the density of gags.
Ellis co-wrote and starred in three series of his own BBC Radio 4 sitcom Phil Ellis is Trying and won the Edinburgh Panel Prize in 2014 for Funz and Gamez, ostensibly aimed at kids but with an adult sense of humour.
