First tour for comedian and anaesthetist Ed Patrick

Comedian and anaesthetist Ed Patrick has announced a small tour for 2024.
Catch Your Breath is his first tour and comprises just nine dates over four months, following the show’s debut at the Edinburgh Fringe in August.
It covers his training as a junior doctor, the NHS, the pitfalls of modern medicine and the power of questioning it.
He said: ‘I’m delighted to be dropping scrubs for the stage (other attire will be worn) and over the moon to be taking this show and story to some absolutely dream venues.
‘There’s a chance I’ll get some free parking too, which excites any NHS worker.’
Patrick previously shared his tales of the NHS in his book, also called Catch Your Breath, which was published in 2021. He has also written for the Guardian about the intersection between medicine and comedy.
