19 new dates for The Trouble And Strife show

Lucy Beaumont has extended her first-ever tour.

She has added 19 dates to The Trouble And Strife show, which is already on the road.

It draws on her marriage to Jon Richardson – as explored in Dave’s Meet The Richardsons and Channel 4’s Jon And Lucy’s Odd Couples.

Beaumont was nominated for the best newcomer award at the 2014  Edinburgh Fringe for her debut, We Can Twerk It Out. She returned in 2019 with Space Mam, which had been set for a small UK tour but was cancelled because of Covid.

She has also created and co-written Hullraisers, the female-led comedy series which aired on Channel 4 last year, and wrote and starred in Radio 4’s To Hull And Back.

Her comedy memoir Drinking Custard: The Diary Of A Confused Mum was published by Octopus in 2021.

Tickets for the new dates go on sale tomorrow.
