Comedy event wins at UK Festival Awards.

Alpine comedy festival Altitude has been named best overseas festival at the UK Festival Awards.

Organisers Mhairi and Brett Vincent, from Get Comedy, said: ‘Thank you to everyone who voted, who supports us, who performs with us and who works with us, and of course the amazing Mayrhofen Tourist ​Board – we couldn’t have won with without you.’

Created in 2007, the event returns to the Austrian resort from April 3 to 7 with a line-up that includes Dylan Moran, Deidre O’Kane,  Emmanuel Sonubi, and founders Andrew Maxwell and Marcus Brigstocke.
