Cohosting BBC podcast with Alison Spittle

Kerry Katona has joined Irish stand-up Alison Spittle as co-host of  the BBC comedy podcast Wheel Of Misfortune.

The series – which invites guests to laugh about some of their bleakest moments – launched in 2020 with Fern Brady as co-host, but she stood down in February, leaving Spittle as the sole host.

Now the former Atomic Kitten singer and I’m A Celebrity winner has signed up, with her first episode out today featuring social media influencer Anna Saccone.

Spittle said: ‘Kerry Katona has made Wheel Of Misfortune whole again and I’m delighted to embark on a podcast adventure with pop royalty. The listeners’ voice notes are still bringing the gold as well, digging up all the true crimes they’ve done to themselves.’

Katona added: ‘I’m so excited to host my first podcast and I’ve been having the best time making Wheel Of Misfortune with Alison, who cracks me up constantly. I’ve already learnt so much from all the stories we’ve heard, listening to some of the voicenotes make me look normal!"’

Other guests for this series include reality TV star Chloe Veitch, beauty queen Danielle Lloyd, Married At First Sight’s Thomas Hartley, and internet phenomenon NOHUN.
