Chris Rock returns to Saturday Night Live
Chris Rock will host the first episode of Saturday Night Live when it returns for its 46th season next month.
The show, on October 8, will be the first time the 55-year-old comic has hosted the show in six years.
Broadcaster NBC made the announcement in a Thursday afternoon tweet, also revealing that Megan Thee Stallion would be the musical guest.

As previously announced, Jim Carrey will make his debut as Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden
The new season is the first to be made in the studio since the Covid pandemic shut down production in March, although three remote episodes were aired with guest stars including Tom Hanks and Brad Pitt.
