London venues announce post-Fringe seasons
Two of London's top fringe comedy venues have announced seasons of hit Edinnburgh shows.
The Albany in Great Portland Street is again hosting Objectively Funny Festival, which this year boasts 42 shows over 12 days, while 2Northdown in Kings Cross will be hosting 17 post-Edinburgh shows
Objectively Funny Festival opens with Jen Brister and Maisie Adam on September 18, with future shows including best show winner Jordan Brookes and nominee Jessica Fostekew, pictured, and Best Newcomer nominees Sophie Duker, Huge Davies and Helen Bauer.
The Albany has been a comedy room since the 1980s and was where Bob Monkhouse filmed his farewell stand-up show.
Meanwhile, 2Northdown's line-up starts on September 20 and inlcude best newcomer nominees Crybabies as well as Mat Ewins, Tom Houghton, Rachel Fairburn and more.
As always, many of the most acclaimed shows from Edinburgh are also getting runs at the Soho Theatre, including Brookes, Fostekew, Phil Wang, Zoe Coombs Marr, Ahir Shah, Janine Harouni, Jack Tucker, Sophie Duker, and Catherine Bohart.
