First shows revealed for Underbelly Festival Southbank

...including Chortle's Fast Fringe

London’s Underbelly Festival Southbank has announced the first 74 shows of its 2019 line-up.

This year’s comedy programme includes solo shows from John Robins, Vikki Stone, Mark Watson, Abandoman and Fin Taylor as well as the return of Chortle’s Fast Fringe on July 1.

The venue – the giant upside-down purple cow next to the London Eye – will also host the  London Comedy Allstars, a new mixed bill night running each Saturday. Names set to appear include Ed Gamble, Josie Long, John Robins, Felicity Ward, Jen Bristel, Rachel Parris and Phil Wang. Underbelly will also host  the adult and baby mixed bill comedy, Screaming With Laughter.

The festival – now in its 11th year – will also include a two-week season of podcast recordings,  including woman’s lifestyle show Standard Issue, A Gay and a non-Gay, and Mark Watson & Sofie Hagen.

Cabaret shows include Massaoke, Cocoa Butter Club, Blunderland nad  Marcel Lucont’s Cabaret Fantastique.

Advance £13 tickets for the first batch of shows are on sale today  via Today Tix and on general sale from Monday.
