Debut tour for Ken Cheng

Best Dad Ever takes to the road as his TV profile rises

Ken Cheng, who won Dave’s Joke Of The Fringe last year, is to embark on his first British tour.

Best Dad Ever will play for two nights at London’s Vaults festival in January before 14 further dates around England over the next four months.

The show, which premiered at this year's Edinburgh Fringe, revolves around his upbringing as the son of  Chinese immigrants in the UK, including his obsession with toy lambs.

Before turning to comedy, Cheng dropped out of his maths degree at Cambridge University to become a professional poker player. He has since starred in his own Radio 4 series and will host E4’s Hangover Games alongside fellow comedian Matt Richardson when it launches next year. He will also be appearing on ITV2’s new comedy show The Stand Up Sketch Show.
