US comic announces two weeks at Soho Theatre

American stand-up Hari Kondabolu has announced a two-week run of London dates.

The comic, known for his documentary about The Simpsons, The Problem With Apu, will be performing his new show American Hour at the Soho Theatre from  December 3.

Promoters Avalon say the show will tackle ‘racism, sexism, colonialism, homophobia, and other light-hearted fare’.

Kondabolu’s first Netflix special, Warn Your Relatives, was released in May, and he was this week announced as the host of the 2019  International Emmy awards.

He toured with Chris Rock across Europe last year, and this show is his fifth UK appearance in eight years.
